Answer #1

here,

mass of airboat , m = 250 kg

net force , F = 800 N

the acceleration , a = F /m

a = 800 /250 m/s^2 = 3.2 m/s^2

let the time taken be t

the final speed , v = u + a * t

12 = 0 + 3.2 * t

solving for t

t = 3.75 s

the time taken is 3.75 s
