Is the angle of incidence bigger when a ray hits the top/bottom of a diverging lens? Or when it hits the middle?

Angle of incident is ZERO for ray of light passing through the midpoint of the lens. As you move on the both sides of the lens (towards top and bottom) angle of incidence would be larger.

So, angle of incidence will be more when light ray hits the top or bottom.
