Since, 58.69 g of nickel contains 6.022 x 1023 (i.e. 1 mol) atoms of nickel .

So, 5g of nickel must contain

  6.022 x 102 0.513x 0 23- 23 0.513× 10 58.69 atoms of nickel.

As atomic number of nickel is 28.

So, 1 atom of nickel has 28 protons and also 28 electrons.

Therefore, Total number of positive charge (i.e. protons) on 5g of nickel = total number of negative charge(i.e. electrons) on 5g of nickel

= 28 x 0.513 x 1023 = 14.364 x 1023
