Answer #1

1) Results in the formation of calcium hydroxide and hydrogen bromide. Takes place at a temperature of about 180-200°C. Heat is absorbed endothermic.

2) Does not dissolve in water. C and Cl atoms does not form hydrogen bonds with H2O molecules. CCl4 molecules are symmetric.

3) This reaction takes place readily.Ammonia is a gas .It behaves and show the characters of a base and dissolves readily. Ammonium and hydroxide ions are formed actually this reaction is exothermic.

4)As it is a strong electrolyte it readily mixes in water. Also heat is released.HCl losses it's proton as H+ and combines with water to form hydronium ion. It completely ionises also resulting in the formation of Cl- ions. Exothermic reaction.
