Explanation:- Hexanol (alcohol) has the highest boiling point than hexane(alkane), dipropyl ether (ether), 3-pentanone (ketone) . This is due to the existence of strong hydrogen bonding between hexanol molecules.

3-propanone has the second highest boiling point (much higher than hexane and dipropyl ether). This is due to the dipole-dipole interactions between -C\delta+=O\delta- ​​​​​​ dipoles of 3-propanone molecules.

Dipropyl ether has third position in boiling point. This is due to the existence of weaker dipole-dipole interactions between dipropyl ether molecules.However, the boiling point of dipropyl ether is much closer to that of hexane.

Hexane has the lowest boiling point because only weaker vander Waal forces exists between its molecules.
