This term refers to short term immediate treatment to the person who have been expirenced & produced an emotional, behaviour, mental and physical distress.
It happens with everybody , & intervention can take so many forms, from family helping & support strategies to professional counselling strategies targeting at helping the individual cope with crisis in ways that decrease the negative physiological psychological & behavioural effects of the trauma on that person & his environment.
