Respiratory syncytial virus is a lower respiratory tract infection caused by paramyxovirus.It usually affects the children occasionally adults.

In mild cases the symptoms are similar to common cold

In severe cases

• High grade fever
• severe cough
• wheezing
• dyspnea
• Tachypnoea
• Cyanosis
• Unexplained tiredness and lethargy
• Discomfort and irritability
