Answer: The invention of transistor and microprocessor have significant role in the advancement of nuclear medicine as it enables the healthcare professionals to avail more accurate results of the diagnosis. This will help in proper treatment that can be provided to the patients. Due to this invention, the data are more precise and accurate. Execution of instructions becomes easy by integrating all the component of the computer.

If the next generation of nuclear medicine incorporates nanoprocessors and has unlimited storage capability then it will help in many other ways in the field of medicines. The storage of data can improved, any information can be retrieve easily regarding the patient diagnosis after many months too. The storage as well as the speed will be enhanced which will provide low risk of data loss.

Oxygen enhancement ratio is the enhancement of the therapeutic effects of radiation which is influenced due to the oxygen availability.

Radiosensitizer is a component which is used to make tumor cells more sensitive towards the radiation therapy whereas radioprotector are those components which are design in such as way that it can reduce the damage to the normal tissues and cells during the radiation therapy.
