We need to give the people who work there the information technology and transparency they need to give the positive outcomes.
In order to convert the volume based care models to value based care models we can approach in 3 ways ie..,
1) Service based payment
2)Population based payment
3)Bundled based payments.
Several long term policies like incentives for patient health , classification of high risk patients payment policies etc...can also improve the patients care.Providers should take necessary steps like gathering all payers data, determining the cost of the infrastructure , providing incentives and funding for the rural hospitals.Healthcare is paid by government programs such as Medicare , Medicaid etc...
