A researcher wonders whether there is a difference in weight following a vegan diet. The scores for a group of 10 students before (pre) and after (post) the implementation of the vegan diet are recorded:

So as the p value is nearly 0.01 we can accept the null nypothesis ( that is we can say that "there is no difference in weight following a vegan diet") at only 99% confidence level.. But otherwise we would reject the null hypothesis(that is we can say "there is a difference in weight following a vegan diet") at 90% and 95% confidence level
