Describe the posterior cruciate ligament substituting designs and posterior cruciate ligament retaining designs. And list the pros and cons of each.
Posterior cruciate ligament substituting designs is a total knee replacement design and prosthesis which will be used for total knee arthroplasty. The posterior cruciate ligament retention and substitution need long-term follow-up..mostly there critical outcome of successful total knee arthroplasty like survival,range of motion and flexion and it's scores shows quality of life and morbidity of the Patient..for the Patient those who use with non- functional posterior cruciate ligament they can use only PCLS design..some of the outcomes successful knee arthroplasty patient have stability,the ability to climb stairs.. posterior cruciate ligament retention during total knee arthroplasty provides better outcomes like joint stability, more normal gait, ROM, prosthetic duration. Adequate functioning of PCL should not be too tight or too loosen after surgery..To aim correct PCL function after cruciate- retaining high - flexion TKA need femoral rollback than conventional TKA..in market with this both designs will not remain with same results, sometime it will be dominated one another..most of the studies proven PCLS has better results than PCLR..High quality, randomized controlled studies to be revealed in the aspects of stair - climbing, stability, proprioception and pain relief..
PCLS:
Pros and cons;
Posterior tilting of the tibial component by 6-10° in posterior cruciate ligament substituting is a common practice it improves ROM and prevent loosening of the component..
Minimize wear high flexion design were conceived to increase knee flexion after surgery..
PCLR:
Pros and cons:
WOMAC assessment (western ontario and MC master universities osteoarthritis index) used..pros and cons and implantation depends on orthopaedic surgeon experience and prosthesis for cohort of patient with either one specific design can be used..

If you can help with any of the following questions it would be much appreciated !!! Describe the Federal Reserve in terms of power and accountability. Describe the organization of the Fed and how members are chosen, Who appoints them? What can they do? What powers does the Fed have and to whom are they accountable? Explain how the main tools of monetary policy are conducted.
Any help is appreciated! A little explanation for each would
really help me a lot, as I read the chapters and I'm just finding
the questions very tricky :/

What starting materials can be used to prepare the following diazo compounds? List the two starting materials and indicate "amine to b diazotized" and "reactant to be coupled with diazonium salt" for each section: A student diazotizes sulfanilic acid at 3-5 degree C but inadvertently allows the diazonium salt solution to warm to 20 degree C. He gets a very low yield of methyl orange. What...
