1) changes in maximum and minimum is decided by the amplitude hence if we change the amplitude then maximum and minimum changes.

2)The phase decides whether shifts starts and end left or right .

3) Frequency is nothing but the no. Of cycles per second..... That means frequency decides that how often the pattern repeats.

If we enter the frequency 1/3 then we can get the only one third part of the one full cycle in one second interval. And if we change frequency to 3 then we get three cycles in one second interval.

6) to go up to the maximum of 2 and minimum of - 2 set amplitude = 2.

7)to shift to the left so that it starts at - 1 set the phase =3 so we get phase change of 270 degree .
