At the highest point,the vertical component of velocity vy becomes equal to zero. The baseball has only horizontal component of velocity vx. But the baseball is acted upon by acceleration towards gravity and is directed towards the ground. If we look at the figure we can clearly see that acceleration due to gravity(g) is perpendicular to the horizontal component of velocity at the highest point.

Hence the correct option is 'c' -----> "It's velocity is perpendicular to its acceleration"
