26. Medium 1 is used to determine the organisms that ferment sucrose into the acid end product. The medium contains yellow dye with a PH of greater than or equal to 7 reduces the PH of media. This dye turns into agar red indicates the presence of acetic end products in the medium.

Medium 2 contains sheep's blood helps to determine the Streptococcus species. So it cannot help to determine the acid end products.
