Answer #1

First Image

answer :- Diagram B

The book is on the table so vertical force will balance each other ( weight of the book and normal force )

as the book is not moving so horizontal force will balance each other and will be of same magnitude and will be in opposite direction.

Second image ( same as third image )

answer :- Diagram B

The book is on the table so vertical force will balance each other ( weight of the book and normal force )

As the book is moving with constant speed that means there is no acceleration and that means there is no external force is acting on the book . So horizontal force will be of same magnitude and opposite direction.
