Young college female came into her primary care physician office of reports of feeling fatigued, having a difficult time participating in her cross country practices. She has been out of breath doing regular tasks, her heart rate elevates more quickly. It has been irregular for a while since joining her cross country team. She does not eat meat or dairy products. friends of hers have had mono. but this young college female has no enlargement or swollen lymph nodes.
Iron deficiency anemia , as patient has feeling of shortness of breath and fatigue
possible diagnoses may include asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, pneumothorax, copd, congestive heart failure, interstitial lung disease based on shortness of breath
