* Calculation of Desired frequency.

         Formula

            Desired frequency = Actual frequency * Actual PaCO2 / Desired PaCO2.

                      Actual frequency = 12.

                       Actual PaCO2 = 65 mmHg.

                      Desired PaCO2 = 50 mmHg.

               As per formula

                  Desired frequency = 12 * 65 / 50

                                                    = 780 / 50

                                                    = 15.6
