The director of security and the head of pharmacy services now require all persons working in the pharmacy department with access to drugs to clock out after their shifts and then go through a security check before leaving the building. Several employees have complained that they should be paid for this time because the security check is for the employer's benefit. The director of security and head of the department are correct.because ,series of theft is occured in the pharmacy.people can blame each other especially people who work in pharcy can be unnecessarily accused for the theft.if the security checking is done after each shift it would be beneficial for the employees .they will not be accused any more even if theft occurs again.
