Question

Position versus Time Graphs Conceptual Question PartA Review A driver ignores the stop sign and continues driving east at constant speed. The motions described in each of the questions take place at an intersection on a two-lane road with a stop sign in each direction. For each motion, select the correct position versus time graph. For all of the motions, the stop sign is at the position x = 0, and east is the positive x direction.(Figure 1) View Available Hint(s) Please Choose ▼ Submit Part B A driver ignores the stop sign and continues driving west at constant speed View Available Hint(s) Please Choose Submit Part C Figure 1 of 1 A driver, traveling west, slows and stops at the stop sign. Answer #1

Part A

Graph D is correct as drives moves in the east at constant direction.

Part B

Graph A is correct as the motion is now in negative direction

Part C

Graph F is fine.

Part D

Graph E is correct. see the direction of motion. He stops at stop sign where x = 0 then moves
