MARIJUANA

Marijuana should be legal. it is necessary because the current policy is detrimental to society and the legalization of marijuana would be beneficial.

SB 182-MEDICAL USE OF MARIJUANA:

local government planning and zoning wild fires. SB 182,as introduced ,Jackson. general plans safety element . planning and zoning law requires the legislative body of a city or a country to adopt a comprehensive ,long term general plan that includes various elements , including , among others

• Redefining the term marijuana delivery device to provide an exception to the requirement that such devices must be purchased from a medical marijuana treatment center for devices that are intended for the medical use of marijuana by smoking .
• redefinding the term " medical use " to included the possession ,use ,or administration of marijuana in a from of smoking
• restricting the smoking of marijuana in enclosed indoor work places.
• requiring a qualification physician to submit specified documentation to the board of medicine and the board of osteopathic medicine upon determining that smoking is an appropriate route of administration for a qualified patient other than patient with a terminal condition .
• used for pain it could be from headaches , a disease like cancer or along term condition ,like glaucoma or nerve pain .
• muscle spasm caused by multiple sclerosis
• nausea from cancer chemotherapy
• poor appetite and weight loss caused by chronic illness such as HIV or nerve pain
• seizure disorders
• crohn'disease

bill has changes to the marijuana bill adding civil protections and protection from discrimination from employment , housing schooling and medical care -including receiving an organ transplant.

• expanding list of medical qualifying conditions
• streamling the patient registry process and allowing multi year registration
•    creating reciprocity for patients from other jurisdictions
• establishing aformal patient and care giver advisory board that will work with state and the patient and care giver community to develop rules for collective cultivation for 2020.
