Rituals differs in accordance with culture.In many Asian countries it is still practiced though it has a high risk of death.Fire walking is common in most part of certain Asian countries where it is way to purify oneself from evils,and be a devoted individual to the God . In certain cases it is carried out to prove genuinity .People tend to fast for days according to their religious practices,showered with turmeric water and walk on the fire with full hope on the God.In case if the person has committed any sin he may have burns.But still this practice has a high predictability of death and is even permissible in these places.
