The baby has pyrexia (increased temperature) which becomes the top most priority of the scene. So she has to monitor the vital signs which shows a rise in temperature and others indicating a sign of infection and inflammation according to the temperature the care can be given like cold compress, direct fan therapy tepid sponge which gradually reduces the body temperature where by heat production will reduce. Next to treat dehydration as the oral fluids are not tolerated by the infant the intravenous infusion can be started up with the prescription with the na so gastric tube feeding until the issue of vomiting settles.
