AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to address the needs and interests of middle-aged and elderly and provide membership to people above 50 years or older. They offers services and benefits such as group health insurance program;special discount on automobile rental, airline and hotel rates, credit union, pharmacy and travel services. They also issues video programs and printed materials on health topics and on other agting -related issues. So I think advocacy of elderly people is the core mission.
