Answer #1

1. Ans: Synthesis reaction. In this reaction ,Two or more reactants unite to form a single product.

2.Ans:.Double Displacement. For ionic compounds, the positive ion in the first compound combines with the negative ion in the second compound, and the positive ion in the second compound combines with the negative ion in the first compound.

3.Ans: Decomposition Reactions. in this reaction a single reactant is decomposed or broken down into two or more
            products.

4 Ans: Double Displacement reaction. For ionic compounds, the positive ion in the first compound combines with the negative ion in the second compound, and the positive ion in the second compound combines with the negative ion in the first compound.

5.Ans:Single Replacement Reactions. In single replacement reaction a single free element replaces or is substituted for one of the elements in a compound.

6.Ans: Iron is oxidised and oxygen is reduced.

7.Ans: Sulphur  is oxidised and silver is reduced.

8.Ans:  Double Displacement reaction is not considered REDOX.
