First of all, religion provides a sense of identification and fraternity to a group. Secondly, religion directs ethical guidelines that need to prescribed as per the societal point of view. Religion has moved in a parallel manner to the development of society by extending its reach across different dimensions, that are somewhat guiding contemporary society.
