here we can use the paired t - test, because in t - we will compare the two population ,and where we have to samples, to compare and to find nullhypothesis, we will use paired t -test.

here, there was a two different smoking cessation programmes, those are A and B. and samples are also decided in this.

so the answer is '1' paired t -test.

Because here only two groups are there, to compare two groups and see difference between two groups we will use two sample t - test.
