Density = mass of object/volume of object

mass of object = 46.675 g

Volume of object = (Volume of water + object in cylinder) - (Volume of water in cylinder before object submersed)

Volume of object = 35.37 mL - 29.79 mL

Volume of object = 5.58 mL

Density = 46.675g 5,58mL

Density = 8.36 g/mL

# The Separation between two calibration lines on the graduated cylinder is 0.01 mL.

Because the volume recorded my student is upto 2nd decimal place.
