1. True. Water we can not use for dehydration reaction. We need to use acid for dehydration.

2. True. Hydration is reaction of carbon and hydroxy group bond formation. So in hydration reaction C-O bond will form.

3. True. More substituted carbocation is more stable because carbon atoms will stabilise carbocation by donating electron or by hyperconjugation.

4. True. If hydroxy group will attack on secondary carbonation we will get secondary alcohol.

5. False. Trans alkene are more stable than cis alkene. In Cis alkene there is steric hindrance in two substituents whereas in trans alkene there is no steric hindrance.

6. True. More substituted alkene are more stable, similarly more substituted carbocation are more stable.
