Answer :

Fasting blood sugar test :

* it should be done at morning times to the client with out taking as my food and fluids.

* the normal range is 70 to 110 mg per dl.

* if the blood sugar levels come more than 126 mg per dl it two supperate test we can consider as the client have diabetes mellitus.

Hemoglobin A1C test :

* it is glycated hemoglobin test.

* the hemoglobin carries oxygen,

* here hemoglobin covalantly bound to glucose,

* when the hemoglobin bind to glucose, the glucose levels may comes high in HBA1C test.

* here we can measures the beta N 1 deoxy fructosyl component of hemoglobin.

* the normal level is 4 to 6%.

* if more than 6 % of it indicates client have diabetes mellitus.

* during prediagnosis time we can check HBA1C, to confirm whether the patient is having diabetes or not.

* after doing fasting blood sugars, if it comes higher value we can do HBA1C to confirm diabetes.
