1.AMBULATION

Ambulation is the ability to walk without any kind of support or assistance.it is commonly used a goal after surgery or physical therapy.

2.ROM EXERCISE ENSURE FULL EXTENSION

Eg.PRONE HANG EXERCISE.

The prone hang exercise is a simple method to use to help improve your knee extension range of motion (ROM) after injury or surgery.the steps of prong hang exercise are

  • Locate a bed that has at least one side with ample amount of room around it.
  • Lie on the bed on your stomach.
  • Slide down on the bed to the edge so your leg is hanging over the end. Your thigh should be supported on the bed, but your lower leg should be hanging off the bed.
  • Place a small rolled-up towel underneath your thigh just above your kneecap. This helps to keep from placing too much pressure on your kneecap.
  • Remain in this position for 30 to 60 seconds. Allow gravity to pull your lower leg down towards the floor so your knee straightens out

3.KINETIC CHAIN EXERCISES.

Kinetic chain exercises are divided into two.closed and open chain kinetic exercises.

Closed Kinetic Chain (CKC) exercises or closed chain exercises are exercises or movements where the distal aspect of the extremity is fixed to an object that is stationary.

Eg of closed chain exercises are squats,deadlifts, lunges, power cleans, and leg presses.

4.LIGHT OPEN CHAIN EXERCISE FOR HAMSTRINGS

Leg curls single out the hamstrings on the back of the thighs. These are performed on a lying leg curl machine.

  1. To begin, lie face-down on the padded bench with your lower legs hooked under the padded lever arm.
  2. Grab hold of the support handles with your hands and lift the lever arm by bending your knees.
  3. Once your heels are by your buttocks, slowly lower the lever arm and repeat the procedure.

5.EFFUSION

effusion is defined as an accumulation of fluid in an anatomic space, usually without loculation. Specific examples include subdural, mastoid, pericardial and pleural effusions.

6.JOINT LINE ON KNEE

A joint line is a tissue called the synovial membrane lines the joint and seals it into a joint capsule. The joint line in the knee located inThe joint line palpation of the knee starts from the medial border of the patellar ligament towards the posterior aspect of the knee. Beginning at the lateral border of the patellar ligament, the lateral joint line was palpated in a similar way along the joint line in the posterior direction.

7.CONTRALATERAL

Contralateral refers to relating to or denoting the side of the body opposite to that on which a particular structure or condition occurs.
