The District Attorney (DA) acts as the chief prosecutor in a local government area. Generally, there is a staff of prosecutors in the office of a district attorney. These prosecutors are responsible for prosecuting individuals who are suspected of breaking laws and conducting criminal investigations against them. Therefore, the office of the district attorney plays the most important role in enforcing laws in the local government area. Law enforcement interests may greatly as law enforcement helps law-abiding citizens live peacefully and punish the criminals as well as control criminal activities. I feel internally motivated by being able to enforce laws.
