The article discusses sleepiness issues with the nurses who work on the night shift and benefits of scheduled naps as an effective counter-measure.

1. An advantage is that by using these scale systems as accurate and quick point system can be used. These numbers can be more easily made into graphs and easy to compare and contrast with one another.

A major disadvantage is that whenever you are dealing with people and their personal opinion can be rather subjective. What one person feels as alert may feel like drowsiness to another.
