2.ASSISTING PATIENT WITH MEDICAL EQUIPMENT;

a.infusion catheter and pump;

  • nurse assist the patient for positioning in bed or chair for the infusion catheter,
  • Make the patient more comfortable and ensure in bed for IV infusion.
  • Help the patient and make him comfort,if the patient had any discomfort in infusion time.
  • ​​​​​​Help dressing to the patient.
  • patient had any sensation of pins and needles in extremity where you had infusion,help them to take oral pain medicine.

b.oxygen delivery system;

  • For oxygen delivery system,if the patient is ambulatory or physically disabled in wheel chair,nurse provide physical assistance by transferring the patient to the bed from the wheel chair.
  • assist the patient head for oxygen delivery device or mask to place,
  • Make the patient more comfortable and avoid from fallings.
  • Help the patient to go to the bathroom.
  • Assist the patients body position for oxygen delivery mask.
  • Help the positioning of patient,whenever he want to sit or lying in bed.

  • Help the patient getting more comfortable for the tube insertion.
  • wheel chair assistance to the patient,from the wheel chair to bed.
  • Taking the patient to bathroom in the wheel chair,check the tube position in patient,if altered the position of tube,help the patient correcting the tube position.
