1)applied force is towards left. force is applied at top of ball. Torque due to applied force ,about center of ball, is counterclockwise

Ball will rotate counterclockwise

2)Forces acting on the person are centrifugal force acting radially outwards and normal force exerted by wall on the person

3)For opening can of paint, the lever arm that will help is length of handle. Therefore longer handle will help

For removing a stuck screw, the lever arm that will help is thickness of handle. Therefore, thicker handle will help
