In the organisation, to achieve the organisational goals and to improve their productivity most of them are using the full efforts of the employees.They expect more work from all employees.Thus the employees continue to do the extreme work loaded on them then they meets various health problems.To increase the organisational productivity employees health gets affected.This is the major relationship between the health and productivity.For example , in 2:1 or 3:1 is the nurse -patient ratio in the wards.Instead of it some hospitals make 6:1 or more than it for their productivity sake.By this they can make the work of 3 nurses by a single nurse.Thus they can save the salary of the 3 nurses.The organisation gets financial productivity but the nurse gets more health problems.

Health plans can include periodical health check up to the employees and providing health  insurance benefits to them helps to find the health problem earlier and finds solution to it.Employers should make arrangements to the health plans mentioned also should recruit correct ratio of work , proper shifts to the workers and provide enough leisure time to them.

Example of Workplace wellness initiative :

As a health care industry the employees health problems are back pain,Varicose veins , Urinary infections and other problems,anemia and insomnia.These are the common problems faced by  employees.As the workplace wellness initiative , the conference was conducted.They gave guidance regarding efficient ways to manage the work.They taught about relaxation techniques. They made employees to participate in physical exercises.They demonstrate various relaxation activities.They encouraged everyone daily to schedule some time for physical exercises which helps to avoid various health problems and to promote more relaxation which gives physical and mental stress relief.After the conference the divide the employees into groups and conducts weekly classes to promote the health of the employees.There the employees share their experience about improvement in their health.
