It is considered as the chore aspect of the nursing care. It can be defiened like making a nursing diagnosis with help of assessment finding and thus setting the goals and implement and evaluate the same thing.

The steps involved in the nursing process are

  1. Assessment
  2. Nursing diagnosis
  3. Setting up of goals
  4. Nursing intervention
  5. Evaluation of the out come

Assessment is the most important step in the nursing process, the assessment should be based on subjective and objective data which were obtained from the patient also by the lab values or other measurement such as vitals. If the assessment not able to do properly all the nursing process will not help the patient. Based on the assessment we must make a nursing diagnosis and then setting a goal. The goal can be short term and long-term. And at the end we must implement the intervention and evaluate the same. The evaluation will be based on the goals.
