As given the probability that a randomly selected individual selected cone is independent of individual selecting chocolate = p(cone and chocolate ) = p(cone) * p(chocolate) =0.80 * 0.50 = 0.40

So a) 0.40

B) 0.50 - 0.40 = 0.10

Similarly p(strawberry and cup) = p(strawberry) * p(cup) = 0.2 * 0.2= 0.04

So f) 0.04

E) 0.2 - 0.04 = 0.16

a + c + e = 0.80

0.40 + c + 0.16 = 0.80

C) = 0.80 - 0.56 = 0.24

D) 0.30-0.24 = 0.06

So, a= 0.40 , b= 0.10, c= 0.24, d=0.06, e= 0.16, f= 0.04
