MRSA is a gram positive bacteria.An infection which can be easily acquired by the people in healthcare sector ( Patient and Healthcare professionals ) It has no treatment systematically (orally or parenterally) but with only topical applications like ointment and a bath .

The antimicrobial stewardship program was initiated to detect the organism faster and making aware the physician on the reduced use of antibiotics. It aids UN effective treatment ,decrease the length of hospital stay and reduces the cost of medical expenditures

Prevention:

• Practicing strict handwashing
• Isolation of patient infected with MRSA
• Screening of healthcare professional periodically
• Removal of unnecessary invasive lines in patient
• Proper catheter care and change of it at regular interval

Reduction of virus :

• Decolanisation will help in reduction of the micro organism
• Disinfection practices after discharge if a patient

Barriers of care:

• Less number of staff to care for
• A single staff looking after multiple patients
