Hi,

Hope you are doing well.

__________________________________________________________________________

PART 1:

Given reaction:

8502 + 16H Sq) +358(s) + 16H,00

For this reaction, ᎪᎻ =-1863 kᎫ

Required reaction:

16502 +32H25(q) + 658(s) + 32H,00

We can see that all reaction coefficients doubled.

Hence the enthalpy change of the reaction will also get's doubled.

... ΔΗ = 2x ΔΗ = 2x –1863 kJ

.:. ΔΗ = -3726 kJ

PART 2:

Given reaction:

8502 + 16H Sq) +358(s) + 16H,00

For this reaction, ᎪᎻ =-1863 kᎫ

Required reaction:

358(s) + 16H00) +8502 + 16H259)

We can see that all reaction coefficients are tripled.

Hence the enthalpy change of the reaction will also get's tripled.

... ΔΗ =-ΔΗ =-(-1863 kJ)

.:. ΔΗ = +1863 kJ

PART 3:

From PART 3, we have the reaction:

358(s) + 16H00) +8502 + 16H259)

For this reaction, ΔΗ = +1863 kJ

Required reaction:

9.58(s) + 48H200) +24502 +48H259)

We can see that the reaction has reversed.

Hence the enthalpy change of the reaction will also get's reversed, that is it's negative.

... ΔΗ3 = 3Χ ΔΗ = 2x +1863 kJ

.:. ΔΗ = +3726 kg
