Answer #1

initial velocity = V0 = 6 m/sec

height = h= 2 m

time = t = ?

h = - V0 * t + 1/2 * g * t^2

   2 = - 6 t + 0.5 * 9.8 * t^2

   2 = -6 t + 4.9 t^2

by solving the equation

time = t = 1.497 sec = 1.5 sec
