2, Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor cause common side effects like cough, rash, and allergic reaction cause angioedema it involves in the tongue, mucous membrane, oropharynx, and perioral regions.
3, Due to ACE inhibitor medication patient had an allergic reaction it cause the upper lip to feels thick, full and tingly. It can cause some areas of your tissue to swell(angioedema). This is due to the high level of bradykinins. Angiotensin-receptor antagonists decrease bradykinin-potential activity.
4, advice the patient to stop taking the ACE inhibitor immediately. This late side effects can be treated with Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Advil Motrin IB and Aleve can decrease the effectiveness of ACE inhibitors. a physician can prescribe some other alternative medicine for patient high blood pressure management.
