Answer #1

Answer 1:

Many countries during the early times had to suffer colonial exploitation. The trend was exploitation of third World counties by developed nations of the world. However, after so many years of independence it will be wrong on the part of former colonies to blame colonial legacies for their current state of affairs,. It is true that colonial legacies took all the wealth of these nations with them but the current trend of globalisation and liberalisation in all these nations has helped them to recover their earlier state of affairs. The transfer of technology mandate in some matters has also helped these nations in recovering from the exploitation. Though some of the African nations still are very poor but it is their current state of affairs which needs to be blamed. Thus, in the end it can be stated that colonial legacies are not responsible for the current state of affairs of the formal colonies.
