Answer #1

1) as the pH increases, the concentration of OH- increases and hence the solubility of Ba(OH)2 decreases. So, yes and pH 2.

2) As the pH decreases and hence the concentration of H+ ion increases, CO32- ion combines with H+ ion to produce HCO3- and H2CO3 . So, as pH decreases, more and more CO32- ion is consumed. So, the solubility of CaCO3 increases. So, yes and pH 2.

3) as the pH increases, and hence the concentration of OH- increases, lead ions combine with OH- and precipitate as lead hydroxide. So, the solubility of PbCl2 increases but lead hydroxide precipitates. So, the answer should be yes and pH 5.
