1. We should recommend passive humidifier because patient got discharged from hospital means he does not need that much active assistance so we use passive humidifier .

2.. we would just set the settings of ventilator at low level (weaning process should be followed) and check the patient's response if patient is responding positively than it is correct or if not we will set it back to previous setting..
