The drug absoption and processessing inside the body will vary from mice to human. The liver plays a critical role in breaking down the chemicals. The enzymes that are secreted will be different and varying between humans and mice. Hence the impact of the drug administered cannot be directly coordinated.

In some instances, the drug may bind to immune cells strongly in humans than in mice and vice versa. The metabolic rate may vary between the two species. The kidney function also cannot be ruled out as the waste needs to be excreted.
