Ending inventory as on 31st December 2020 = 18000 units * $ 1000 = $ 18000

Assumption is that the sale price is $ 2 per unit:

Pretax profit = 36000 + 1012500 - 828000*2 - 18000 = 625500

Profit after tax = 625500 * 0.75 = $ 469125
