Interest groups is a group of people who influence public policy on the basis of common interests and concerns . They are also called special interest group or pressure group . It's an association of individuals or organization which is established formally . It's an non profit voluntary organization seek to influence public policy without seeking political support.

Rulemaking is a process that is used by administration and executive to create rules and regulations. Interest groups play a vital role in rule making and that too without the support of political party. They use specific techniques to create rule :-

- publicity and mass media appeals

- mass mailing

- influence on rule making

- litigation

- election activities

- cooperative lobbying

The interest groups use these direct and indirect techniques to influence policy and makes changes and develop new rule.s.and police's which are passed by the people and government which are for the welfare of human beings .
