4.The nursing measures to be done are

  • Provide psychological support and reassure the patient
  • Encourage the mother to do breathing exercises to relax herself
  • Encourage and provide support go walk for good progress of labour and change of position
  • Massage can be helpful (abdomen, lower back)
  • Music therapy can be initiated
  • Provide adequate water

5.DH is in First stage of labor namely Active phase of labor. In this phase the cervix is dilated in between 3 to 7cm lasting for about 3 to 5 hours.

6.The alternative therapy are

  • Massages
  • Music
  • Reading
  • Mobilization
  • Luke warm bath

7.Bleeding does not occur ,it may occur in case of any injury

The amniotic fluid if it is green or brown means the fetus has passed meconium

The contraction lasts somewhere about 45 seconds to 1 minute.

Increase fatigue means the mother is not in a stage of receiving enough glucose and causing pressure on the labor

Contraction will be stronger during this phase but will not be severe
