So If I had a mean of 100, a standard deviation of 10 - Find the z-score based upon an observation of 110. Also which side of the "curve" would the observed value of 110 reside based upon the given mean and standard deviation? Explain.

Given that:

Mean = 100.00
Standard Deviation =                            10.00
X 110.00

х — и 110 - 100 10

Hence, z-score is 1.

As z-score is positive, 110 will reside on the right side of the curve.
