Electric field due to a point charge is represented by lines originating from the charge if the charge is positive. And due to negative point charge electric field lines terminates at the charge.

Infinite plane with negative charge: implies field lines terminates at the charge if charge is negative equipotential lines: electric potential lines are perpendicular to the electric field lines at each point it is drawn in such a way that electric potential is same at all points of the surface D line shows equipotential lines point charges 2Q and Q: blue line shows electric field lines as originating from the charge because charge is positive red lines i. e potential at all the points are equal on an equipotential line.
